The Power of Typing

Summary

An alien necromancer named Moric releases zombies in Tokyo hoping to find and kill Rohoph. Only the Sailor Guardians can stop him... WITH THE POWER OF TYPING!

The Power of Typing

I'm Usagi Tsukino. It was a beautiful day in Tokyo until zombies took over the streets. Everyone locked themselves in their homes. In my room, I call my friends Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan and Minako-chan. We've got to stop these undead! Unfortunately, we're unable to transform into Sailor Guardians. Luna and Artemis don't know why.

While Luna goes around the house’s rooms to make sure no zombies get in, I receive a voice message from Haruka-san. Michiru-san, Hotaru-chan, Setsuna-san and her are also unable to transform.

Just as I was giving up hope of saving Tokyo, a light appeared. It gave way to an alien wearing a white and yellow robe. He has only one eye, white and bright.

"Greetings, Earthling."

"Who are you?"

"That's not important. If you want to save Tokyo from the zombies, you'll need this."

The alien conjures up a computer keyboard attached to straps.

"Wow! A keyboard?"

"Yes. With the power of typing, you'll be able to defeat all the zombies and Moric!"

"Who's Moric?"

"I don't have time to explain. I have to give Anti-Zombie keyboards to your friends."

The alien disappears in a brilliant light. Luna enters my room. Seeing the keyboard, she asks me what it is. I tell her about my encounter with the alien.

"Well, we have no choice but to trust him. Equip this keyboard, Usagi-chan, and go eliminate the zombies!"

I strap the keyboard to my waist. I find it heavy, but Luna tells me not to complain. I recall Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan and Minako-chan. They've all received a keyboard from the alien. Ami-chan tells me that Haruka-san, Michiru-san, Hotaru-chan and Setsuna-san also have one. Michiru-san contacted her to tell her about Haruka-san's plan.

The plan is simple. We kill all the zombies we come across and gather at Tokyo Tower. According to Michiru-san's magic mirror, an evil force and the source of the zombies can be found there.

Luna wishes me good luck. Artemis too, on the phone, and I discreetly leave the house. Two zombies see me and walk slowly towards me. I panic and scream. I don't know what to do. Then I see that words are appearing near the zombies. Having a flash of genius, I type the words and the zombies die. So that's what the alien meant by "the power of typing". Cool!

Thus I move around the city, killing as many zombies as I can. I don't type very fast, but zombies are slow, so it's okay. I quickly meet Ami-chan, who types at lightning speed, and Rei-chan, who types at medium speed. Between the three of us, the undead fall fast.

We continue on our way to Tokyo Tower. We meet up with Mako-chan, who's doing fine at the keyboard, and Minako-chan, who makes so many mistakes while typing, I wonder how on Earth she can destroy zombies.

"Don't say that, Usagi-chan!" She says to me in frustration. "You make mistakes too."

"I don't!"

"Yes, you do!"

"This is no time to argue!" Rei-chan retorted.

"Yes," says Ami-chan, "stay focused."

"These zombies can kill us if we're not careful." Mako-chan adds.

We continue to kill zombies by tapping on the keyboards and moving forward. In front of Tokyo Tower, we find Haruka-san, Michiru-san, Hotaru-chan and Setsuna-san trapped. They're surrounded by a huge zombies’ horde. We kill some of them to clear a path and we're all reunited.

"I'm glad to see you." Says Michiru-san. "I was beginning to lose hope."

"She's being dramatic." Says Haruka-san. "We weren't in any danger."

"That's what she says." Says Hotaru-chan.

"What the...?" Setsuna-san suddenly asks, looking up at the sky.

A war cry is heard and Chibiusa-chan, armed with a keyboard, falls from the sky, shooting zombies down. She lands in Setsuna-san's arms.

"Small Lady!" She exclaims.

"Rohoph sent me to help you!" Says Chibiusa-chan.

"Who?" I asked without getting an answer.

We reduce the horde as much as possible and enter the Tokyo Tower. The elevators don't work. We have to take the stairs.

We run up the steps, which isn't very safe, while killing more zombies by typing, and reach the top of the tower. There stands an alien wearing a black and brown robe. His eye is green and bright.

"What have we here? Intruders, yessss. Intruders."

"It's over for you!" Says Haruka-san.

"Over? No. Nooooo. Nothing's over for me. I'm Moric the Necromancer! Where's Rohoph?"

"Who?" I asked, wanting to know who this Rohoph was.

"I have to find him. Yessss. I must kill him. Rohoph, you filthy Healer, Light’s carrier! He always bullied me, hurt me. Yessss."

"ENOUGH!" Chibiusa-chan yells. "In the name of the moon..."

"WE'LL PUNISH YOU!" Say the other girls.

"HEY! Don't ignore me!" I retorted.

Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan, Minako-chan, Haruka-san, Michiru-san, Hotaru-chan, Setsuna-san and Chibiusa-chan type on their keyboards and Moric quickly weakens.

"NO! I cannot be defeated by Earthlings with magic keyboards! Rohoph... ROHOOOOOPH!!!"

They keep typing and Moric, not wanting to die, disappears. All the remaining zombies die. Tokyo is saved! The magic keyboards disappear, leaving us surprised.

With no reason to stay, we leave Tokyo Tower. We separate and go home. Chibiusa-chan returns to the future.

Back in my room, Luna is happy to see me again. I tell her everything. According to her, Moric has fled and left Earth. As for Rohoph, although I still don't know who he is, I haven't seen him again.

I know that the Annunaki (Rohoph and Moric's people) are genderless, but since they’re referred as "he/him" in the game, I use the masculine.
